CLEANING influencer Mrs Hinch has left her fans divided with her new hot cross bun mug cake recipe.
While Sophie Hinchliffe, 32, regularly shares her cleaning tips and tricks on social media, she instead took to Instagram yesterday to share her - leaving many users open-mouthed.
The social media star, who gave birth to her oldest son Ronnie in June 2019 and her second son Lennie, in May 2021, demonstrated how she makes her simple snack.
The mum-of-two said: “Oh myyyy!!! Hot cross bun mug cake ❤️
“It’s a YES from me, why have I not made this before now 😯
“There’s no ‘new year new diet’ from me I’m afraid guys.

To make the delicious dessert, she first sliced a hot cross bun in half, before cutting the bottom half into small chunks.
She then mixed milk, an egg and what appeared to be baking soda together.
Following this, she added the chopped hot cross bun to a microwavable mug, before adding the liquid mixture and some chopped up Flake.

She then topped the mixture with the top of the hot cross bun before adding it to the microwave.
She microwaved her creation for two and a half minutes and when finished cooking, she served it with squirty cream and more chocolate shavings.
Sophie then tucked into her quick and easy dessert, but her hot cross bun mug cake has left Instagram users divided.
Some thought that it looked “sloppy” and weren’t convinced by her microwavable treat.
One person said: “Ohhh idk about that doesn’t look right to me😢”
Another added: “Noooo I can't stand soggy bread 🤢”
A third commented: “Looks too sloppy I think.”
Meanwhile, others thought that Sophie’s quick and clever recipe looked great and were eager to give it a try.
