I’m plus size and love flaunting my curves – I don’t care what trolls say, I won’t stop getting my tummy out
A PLUS-sized woman has told how she’s proud to flaunt her size 22 frame despite what trolls say.
Keri Kilbride, 27, was shortlisted as a finalist for the Miss Voluptuous UK pageant last year and wants to prove that you can still be healthy and happy with a fuller figure.
Keen to boost her own and others’ body confidence, Keri, from Edinburgh, wants to make it clear big girls are beautiful too and can wear whatever they want.
Speaking to the Scottish Sun, she says: “I'm a size 22, I love how I am because it makes me, me.
“I'm not here to please strangers, I'm here to please myself and look after number one.
“I struggled with how my body looked for years, but I'm learning to love the skin I'm in.
“Plus size shouldn't be something to be afraid to show off.
“I was in the US last summer and noticed more bigger people showing off their curves and what not and thought why doesn't it happen much here? Because we're judged so much.
"Since coming home in July I gained more confidence in what I wear.
“I started showing off my legs, and my tummy a little.”
Earlier this week, we told how a woman loves wearing sexy Love Island bikinis but gets targeted by trolls who say she’s too fat.
Superfan Celestina Diamond loves to get involved by dusting off one of her 10 swimsuits and showing off to her Instagram followers.
The plus size model, 34, enjoys feeling "almost naked" in her favourite bikinis - even if cruel trolls try to shame her online.
As a size 22, she is calling for more representation of different body sizes on the show, and insists that anyone should be able to feel sexy when they strip off.
