A DOG EXPERT has revealed his three favourite dog breeds after detailing the one's he wouldn't recommend.

But the 32-year-old recently took a different approach to his usual warning videos of types of dogs he wouldn't own and revealed the top three breeds you should definitely get if you want a furry friend.
In a recent TikTok video, he said: "As a canine behaviourist I've had the privilege of working with countless different dog breeds and I've got my favourites and least favourites.
"But let's look at my favourite dog breeds of all time."
The first dog breed Will picked out comes as no surprise, the Golden Retriever.

While it isn't his favourite dog breed to work with necessarily, the dog expert revealed their upbeat personality makes up for it.
"They're infectious, joyous, happy go lucky, incredible thirst for life is just something that you can't say no to," he revealed.
The dog expert also revealed he had a soft spot for the working line Labrador, and he even owns one himself.
Will added: "When it comes to actually working with a dog, training with a dog, for me, there is no better."

Finally, the dog expert revealed he's also a fan of the Cane Corso - an Italian Mastiff breed.
He explained: "The Italian Mastiff embodies the spirit of the mastiff but brings in incredible trainability, next level athleticism and a higher level of intelligence.
"This gives them the complete package."
The video has since gone viral with over 740k views and over 50,000 likes.
People raced to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts.

"My favourite is the Labrador, as a family we’ve had 9 and we’ve just picked up a new golden pup," added a third.
