The least sexy names have been revealed ahead of Valentine’s Day – it’s bad news if you’re dating a Reece or Liz

ALTHOUGH we'd probably all love to have a sexy name, not all of them hit the spot.

It turns out some of them are pretty common, so if you're one of the unlucky people whose name is on the list, at least you're not alone.

For men it turns out the least sexy name is Barry - which maybe isn't all that surprising.

Even with a whole host of famous Barry's who have made their entire career around romantic hits like Barry White, Barry Manilow and Barry Gibb of Bee Gees fame - it turns out their name doesn't get anyone feeling saucy.

Coming in at number two is Stewart, closely followed by Mike in third place.

Gordon is the fourth least sexy name and last, but by no means least is Reece.

But it's not just the blokes who haven't been blessed with the most sensual names.

There are also five traditionally female names that won't be getting anyone hot under the collar.

The worst of the bunch is Candice, followed by Kirsty and Chantelle.

Liz also makes an appearance on the list and is apparently the fourth least sexy name for women.

And Natalie comes in at number five, despite there being loads of stunning celebs with the name like Natalie Portman and Aussie singer Natalie Imbruglia.

The results of the Survey were shared by Top10Casinos whose spokesman Tom Darwin said told : "A name, or identity, is a powerful thing. It is a descriptor that allows people to make quick judgments and assumptions about us.

“The names in our survey are quite old-fashioned, which some would associate with grandparents or older people, potentially giving them an old-fashioned sense of being.

“They could also be associated to characters on TV, films or books, or even good and bad experiences with people in real life, which our brains would associate that name with.”
