My son is a record 6ft 3in tall aged 12 – getting school uniform is a nightmare

A BOY of 12 is head and shoulders above other pre-teens — at a record-breaking 6ft 3in.

Footie-mad Harvey Icough is already taller than England captain Harry Kane.

At age ten, the Southampton youth player was the same size as 5ft 6in mum Michelle, 47.

She said: “He’s always been tall but really shot up in the last two years.

“We were shocked.”

Harvey’s height puts him an inch taller than fellow Brit Sophie Hollins, who was reported as the world’s tallest pre-teen in 2018.

Michelle, of Medstead, Hants, added: “I have no idea why he’s so tall.

“He certainly doesn’t take after me — but it’s a nightmare for getting him school uniform.

“His leg is 35 inches and he has size 12 shoes.

“He’s almost 18 inches taller than his classmates.

“But height helps him out on the football pitch, so he’s really happy with that.”
