Home Bargains shoppers rush to buy luxury hair product that scans for just £3 instead of £21 at the tills

Home Bargains is selling a costly luxury beauty item for the incredible price of £3 in selected stores.

Facebook user Amanda Popeley sounded the alarm on the money saving group 'Bargain Lovers - Home Bargains, Amazon, Poundland, B & M Bargains and more', where she encouraged people to check out their local store to bag the deal.

“In homebargains today!” [sic] she wrote in the caption over a photo of Philip Kingsley-branded Moisture Balancing Shampoo and Re-Moisturizing conditioner.

Under the bottles, the price tag was £3.99, which is a far cry from the £21 it usually costs from their online store as well as other retailers, including Marks and Spencer and Lookfantastic.

People were shocked at the price and flocked to the comments to share their reactions.

“These products cost a fortune!” one person exclaimed.

Another shared: “I’ve used this company’s products for years and they are excellent quality, and much more expensive elsewhere.”

As a third posted: “Good stuff I use it it’s so expensive”. [sic]

But some were left questioning whether the products were really reliable as one person wrote: “Could it be fake? Lots of fake perfume etc out there.”

Another said: “Wake up !!! It’s a really pony copy…. The only difference is that’s it’s on a shelf and not out of dels boys suitcase!” [sic]

And a third accused them of being “watered down fakes”.

But it appears these comments had no bearing on whether people went to the store to find them as one person even asked: “which store did you buy them in please”. [sic]

Amanda responded: “Sunderland x”.
