The duke said: "People have said that my wife saved me, I was stuck in this world and she was from a different world and helped draw me out of that.

The book saw Harry describe the moment his father Charles told him the tragic news that his mother Princess Diana had died, detailing his childhood struggles and feeling in competition with his brother William.
Speaking with the trauma expert, Harry said he had turned to therapy to help - going on to detail how he used drugs to deal with the "traumas of the past".
Harry said he found therapy helpful but added: "I suddenly realised that I learnt a new language and the people that I was surrounded by didn't speak that language, I actually felt more pushed aside."
Harry described living in the Firm as like living in a "bubble", saying: "I certainly have felt throughout my life, felt slightly different to the rest of my family."
And he tonight revealed he felt "incredibly free" after the biography had been released about his family.
He said: "To be able to share the things of my life that I think is important feels good but like an act of service.
"If we can encourage other people to be vulnerable themselves and be vulnerable to their family the world will be a better place."
Harry added: "I certainly don't see myself as a victim, I'm very grateful to share my story."
It comes after he and Meghan said "service is universal" after quitting the family.
Harry's biography left the Royal Family reeling when it was released in January - with King Charles since evicting Harry and wife Meghan Markle from their UK home, Frogmore Cottage.
Dr Maté then went onto diagnose Harry with ADD, Attention Deficit Disorder, saying: "Reading the book, I diagnose you with ADD, I see it as a normal response to normal stress."
Speaking tonight, Harry said now he's a father he "can't imagine" how he would have brought up his kids if he was still part of the family.
He added: "I’ve lost a lot but I've gained a lot to see my kids growing up here and how they are.
"I don't see how that would have been possible in that environment."
He also revealed he felt more comfortable when he was in the army and 2,000ft in the air.
He said: "Once you sign up for the war you do what you were told and trained to do."
In his tell-all bio, he described his step-mother as "dangerous” and “the villain".
He also made shocking claims calling the King a liar and Prince William a bully.

Royal biographer Phil Dampier said the palace will be watching in anticipation as relations between the family are only "getting worse".

Despite the ceremony only being nine weeks away, invitations haven't been sent out yet.
The Royal Family were said to be bracing for more truth bombs as Harry reportedly has "nothing to lose".
It comes a few days after The Sun exclusively revealed Harry and Meghan have been booted out of Frogmore by King Charles.
Phil told the : "The King and Prince William would have hoped that Harry calmed down and stopped giving interviews after the publicity interviews he did for Spare but it seems not.
"In fact he may feel he has nothing to lose after being booted out of Frogmore Cottage.
"So sadly, with just nine weeks to the coronation, relations between him and his family seem to be getting worse, not better."
He added fresh attacks could be launched since the couple were kicked out of their royal base.
Harry joined the Dr, who is an expert on trauma and childhood development, in a virtual Q&A event.
Harry had previously taken aim at Charles - suggesting his dad made him "suffer" in an interview with Oprah.
Speaking to the chat show legend on their new Apple TV+ mental health show, The Me You Can’t See, Harry said: “My father used to say to me when I was younger … ‘Well, it was like that for me, so it’s going to be like that for you."
He added: "That doesn’t make sense — just because you suffered, that doesn’t mean that your kids have to suffer, in fact quite the opposite."
He also shockingly accused Camilla of leaking stories to the press and claims she launched a campaign to marry Charles to get the crown.
