I’m a teacher – here’s the worst type of parent ever… I hate dealing with them

A TEACHER has taken to social media to name and shame the worst type of parent he has to deal with.

TikToker @Its.mrmoore posted the satirical video online where he re-enacted a parent-teacher interview.

In the clip, the man played two roles - one of a concerned teacher and the other an ignorant parent.

The topic of discussion is the mother's child, who is having difficulties with other children in the playground.

It begins with a meet and greet, and then the two enter into a conversation.

The teacher says: "Just wanted to talk to you about some issues in the playground and with friendships.

"We need to work on a power share with some of his relationships, he seems to like control and can be a bit aggressive in the way he goes about that.

"So it is just something we need to work on."

In which, the mother replies: "Oh sorry, he is not like that at all.

"He is definitely not like that at home."

The teacher responds: "Ok well I can see here that he is an only child so..."

Then the mother replies: "Well yes of course, I can understand that but if he had siblings at home he wouldn't be like that, I know he wouldn't be."

The teacher, now frustrated, says: "Ok fair enough."

The social media video has more than 20,000 views and was an instant sensation with fellow teachers who hit out at "ignorant" parents.

"OMG why are parents like this... listen to what the teacher has to say and work on it with your child," a TikTok user said.

"This is too real," one said.

"Only child syndrome," a second said.

"Doesn't matter what some kids do, their parents think their kids are little angels," another added.

A nursery assistant has also revealed the most annoying things parents often say to her.
