Inside Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s christening for daughter Lilibet including touching music choice & celeb godfather
PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle last week held a lavish yet intimate christening for their daughter Lilibet.
Here we take a look at everything we know about little Lilibet’s royal bash…
What music was used?
Lilibet's godfather, American actor Tyler Perry, allegedly flew to Montecito, Los Angeles, from Atlanta for the christening with a 10-person gospel choir.
The group performed Oh Happy Day and This Little Light of Mine, which was also played at Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018
Where was the christening held?
Traditionally, a royal christening is a small, family affair held in the historic chapels of Buckingham Palace or Windsor.
Archie was christened at eight weeks old in a quiet, private ceremony in front of about 25 guests at Windsor Castle on July 6, 2019.

Harry’s own christening was held at St George’s Chapel - where he married Meghan - on December 21, 1984.
However, Lilibets’s ceremony took place in the Sussexes' £12million LA home.
What dress did Lilibet wear?
Like many young royals before him, including his cousins George, Charlotte, and Louis, Lili's brother Archie wore a special royal gown.
Unless flown over especially, Lilibet is unlikely to have worn the same outfit.

Who is Lilibet's godfather?
Billionaire filmmaker Tyler Perry is Lilibet's godfather.
Perry, 53, known for his iconic Madea character, told the Sussexes' Netflix documentary that Meghan and Harry asked him to take on the role in 2021.
He said the couple "were pretty serious on the phone".
Perry added: "I go, 'Okay, what's going on?' They said, 'Well, we'd like for you to be Lili's godfather.' I go, 'Whoa,' "
He added: "I had to take a minute to take that in and I thought, 'I’d be honoured. I’d absolutely be honoured'."
But he stressed he didn't want a traditional royal christening, adding: "I go, 'Uh, hold on a second. Does this mean we got to go over there and do all of that in the church with them and figure all of that out, because I don’t want to do that. Maybe we can do a little private ceremony here and let that be that, and if you have to do it there, then that’s okay'."
What guests attended?
Around 25 guests gathered to celebrate the occasion on March 3 - and members of the Royal Family were invited but chose not to go, reports.
The Sussexes allegedly asked King Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate to be there but they declined the offer, according to a source.
Instead, the duke and duchess were joined by three-year-old son Archie, Meghan's mum Doria Ragland, Lili's godfather Perry and between 20 and 30 close friends.

Doria, Charles, Camilla, William and Kate were all in attendance at Archie's special day, but the Queen and Prince Philip were absent, having already made plans to spend the week together at Sandringham.
