The Duke of Sussex yesterday revealed he will attend the historic event without his wife Megan Markle.

The dad-of-two had reportedly spent weeks debating whether to travel to the UK for the historic event as the rift within the Firm deepens.

The duke’s presence at Westminster Abbey will see him join his family for the first time since the Queen's funeral in September.

However it’s believed he will be given the cold shoulder from many members of his family after he launched attacks on the firm in Spare.

MORE ON ROYALS

Sources told that William has "no interest" in speaking to Harry during his trip across the pond.

And Harry will have to face the family feud alone as Meghan will remain in California to celebrate their son Archie’s fourth birthday.

Royal expert Angela Levin believes Meghan missed an opportunity to heal rifts by keeping her children away from the event.

She told The Sun: "They've held the family back to show they're not interested in getting involved. It affects the children.

“They only have a grandmother that they rely on. They don't see anyone in Meghan's family.

“Here they have the chance to become friendly with the young royals - George and his sister and brother.

“They could really make friends. That's a really good way of healing wounds.

“Adults look at children playing together and they soften and want to make amends.

"The fact they're not here is very sad. Harry couldn't manage them on his own and they're too young to come to the service. The real reason they're not here is because it's an excuse for Meghan to stay away."

Harry will also not be able to stand alongside many of his family on the Palace balcony as he is no longer a working royal.

And it is understood he will not attend the concert at Windsor Castle, nor Sunday’s Big Lunch.

William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, will be on the balcony alongside their three children - Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven and Prince Louis, four.
