HONEY WHO?

I made millions as a kid but retired when I was seven – I’ve finally finished school and decided to get a proper job

SHE’S the child pageant star who rocketed to fame after appearing in the reality series Toddlers & Tiaras.

Alana previously shared that she dreams of becoming a neonatal nurse and her mum has cleared up that she won’t be returning to beauty pageants.

Mama June Shannon penned on Instagram alongside a video of Alana graduating: “One last time she walked across the stage.”

She also divulged in an exclusive interview with The Sun last year that the teen "has been accepted into some colleges"

"Granted, we've made a career out of it when it fell in our lap," June said. "But I don't see Alana doing reality TV at the age of 40."

Fans were introduced to five-year-old Alana and her now-famous mother on season five of the TLC series Toddlers & Tiaras.

Her eclectic family and controversial mum meant she landed her own spin-off series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

But Alana retired from the beauty pageant circuit aged seven and took a step back from the public eye to focus on school and her dreams of becoming a neonatal nurse.

“Despite all the challenges and curveballs that were thrown my way, I still did it and I never gave up,” she penned in an emotional Instagram post.

“There were points in time when I just wanted to give up and just say f**k it, but at no point did I give up… I just kept going.”

The teen revealed she got “choked up” at her high school graduation ceremony in Georgia, US

“I was so happy yesterday for myself and my future self,” she continued.

“I can’t wait until I can tell everybody in the future about this day, especially my future kids.

“I'm not gonna lie, I look at my diploma now and it still feels a little surreal for me to be graduating high school.

“But I can finally say, ‘I DID IT’ and if nobody is proud of me, I'm proud of my damn self.”

Fans thought the concluding sentence of her post was a dig at Mama June, who has had a strained relationship with her kids in recent years.

In 2019, Mama June abandoned her family for her troubled ex-boyfriend, Geno Doak.

June has four daughters: Anna, Jessica, Lauryn "Pumpkin" Efird, and Alana.

In an episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, her latest reality show that Alana appears on, Pumpkin and Mama June reunited after not seeing each other for months.
