Jennifer Aniston, JLo, & Cindy Crawford’s secret to looking young – it’s not Botox, a single change could age them

AGING in Hollywood isn’t like aging anywhere else — and 50-something stars like Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston are proof.

But it’s not just because these women have access to the best skincare and surgeons: There’s a simple choice that’s keeping them youthful, and making one mistake could age them immediately.

The U.S. Sun edited a more dated hairstyle onto J-Lo, which made her appear older without changing anything about her face

In recent months, TikTokers have been using Photoshop and AI to edit famously ageless stars and make them look decades older.

But they’re not adding wrinkles, under-eye bags, or age spots: They’re simply giving them Golden Girls-style hairdos.

Cosmetic injector Nicole Smith () was among the TikTokers going viral for demonstrating how quickly a ‘do can transform someone’s face.

In , she showed images of J-Lo, Jennifer Aniston, and Courtney Cox with short, old-fashioned hairstyles — and the results were jarring.

Why does a ‘do make such a difference?

Los Angeles hairstylist Laurabeth Cabott told The U.S. Sun that both length and style can make women look years older than they are.

“Shorter hair tends to make women appear older due to exposing their face and ears while emphasizing the aging process,” she said.

“Hairstyles are a factor in how people perceive your age. Having longer hair helps give the appearance of a more petite or youthful face shape.

“Longer hair also gives you more free range for styling,” she added.

But it’s not a modern pixie cut that’s going to make a 45-year-old woman look 60.

“How it is styled and or colored can really play a role in how a style can be aging,” Cabott said.

“Haircuts can generally make one look younger or age a client, but at the end of the day, it’s all about how the cut is styled,” she said.

Short, voluminous styles — think close-cropped hair that’s spent the night in curlers — can make any woman look like Betty White or Rue McClanahan.

Expert hairstylist Laurabeth Cabott said that shorter styles may make some people look older

“I think these hairstyles are perceived as old because most of the younger generations grew up with grandparents and family with these styles.

To put this theory to the test, The U.S. Sun has edited photos of several youthful stars in their 50s, replacing their normal hairstyles with shorter strands straight out of a retirement home.

Jennifer Lopez, 54, is known for her age-defying looks and style.

But she looked like a different — older — person when we added a mop of gray curls instead of her long, light brown waves.

Jennifer Aniston, 54, is the object of envy for her glowing complexion and svelte figure.

But with voluminous gray curls — and nothing else about her appearance changed — one could easily imagine her playing a grandmother on TV.

Swapping her brown mane with a short, hair-sprayed blonde cut, 57-year-old Cindy Crawford looks markedly different from the woman who last covered Vogue in 2022.

And Just Like That star Sarah Jessica Parker, 58, also instantly appeared dated when photoshopped with short gray hair.

According to Cabott, the transformative power of the right hairstyle doesn’t just apply to celebrities.

“Even just growing your hair out to give it a little more body and fullness can change how the world perceives you and even give you more confidence,” she said.
