I’m a dating expert and single women have to stop swiping left for certain reasons – you may bypass your perfect match
A DATING expert has revealed her massive regret over swiping left on men who don't meet her height requirements.
Jana Hocking is a tiny 5ft 3in, but had her minimum height for potential partners set to a staggering 6ft on dating sites.
However, a recent date with a man who was significantly shorter than he appeared on his profile picture made Jana think twice about what she wants in a man.
"When he stood up from the bar stool to greet me, I am ashamed to say I was upset when I realised we met eye-to-eye in height," she told the Daily Mail Online.
While she "instantly expected very little from the date", she decided to get a drink and "make the most of it".
"Plot twist, it turned out to be one of the best dates I've ever been on," she continued.

"He was funny, polite, and once I looked past the height issue, ridiculously attractive.
"Big blue eyes, broad shoulders and confidence in spades.
"I woke up the next day on a high and also a hint of regret.
"How many awesome guys had I missed out on meeting because I had literally overlooked them?"

She noted that some of the most famous male actors in the world are under 6ft - including Tom Cruise, who is known for his small stature, Sylvester Stallone, Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
"Height does not equal chemistry," Jana added.
And there's even scientific evidence that proves that's true.
"A recent study by e-harmony found that that shorter men usually compensate for their height," Jana said.
"They tend to be sensible, kind and less likely to cheat."
In addition, shorter men are known to "contribute more to household chores" and even make better "financial contributors".
"So ladies, do me a solid and change those height preferences," Jana concluded.
"You are missing out on a world of delight by consistently swiping left on them.
"You're welcome in advance."
Jana previously said that men who have "the rizz" - aka the most charm - are always most attractive to women, and that's regardless of whether they're tall, short, bald, skinny or fat.
Recalling one incident where a man had slid into her DMs during lockdown in the Covid-19 pandemic, Jana said: "He was far too old for me and bald as a badger.
"So, when he offered to make cocktails and go for a walk around our local suburb, my bored self thought, 'sure, he’ll make for a good friend, but nothing more'.

"Jump forward a few hours later, and his deep voice, cocky attitude and complete self-assuredness had me prepared to risk Covid for a bit of sexy time.
"Have to say, worth it. The rizz I tell you. It’s dangerous!"
