Inside the glam life of the UK’s youngest billionaire’s wife – from their accidental meeting to baby twins
BEN and Robin Francis are the super glam married couple who have it all, from gorgeous twin boys, a successful business worth nearly £1bn and the luxury lifestyle to match.
It’s an idyllic life many would aspire to have and an incredible ‘rags to riches’ tale, with former Pizza Hut delivery driver Ben creating his sportswear brand Gymshark out of his parents’ garage.
And it was actually through work the two met, with Ben, 31, asking successful influencer Robin to promote his brand, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Here, we take a closer look at their incredible story and life, from how they met, to Robin’s social influencer career and their very blissful lives together now...
'It was the worst timing'
Their romance kicked off as a long-distance relationship initially, with Robin from Canada, and Ben hailing from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
It was a working relationship to start with, with the pair meeting in June 2016 at a fitness expo in Toronto, Canada, with Robin becoming a brand influencer for the company soon after.

Robin announced their romance on her YouTube channel in November that year, and later sharing a sentimental Instagram post on the one year anniversary of their meeting, writing: “You know when you meet someone and they impact you so unexpectedly and profoundly that you have no choice but to look?
"And the next thing you know your life is completely turned upside down?
“Ben and I met for the first time exactly one year ago.
“In some senses it was the worst timing, but in others it was perfect.

"Our lives were both moved in ways we would never have predicted but we knew that it wasn't worth letting go.
"Plus, Ben is the most tenacious and determined person I've ever met, lol.
“It's been a very very tough year for me in a ton of ways, but I've acted completely on what my heart has told me, and despite it's been the best year of my life. Love you.”
Social media success
Keen gym buff Robin is a very successful social media star in her own right and powerlifter, with nearly 700k followers on Instagram and 393k subscribers on YouTube.
She regularly posts images of herself wearing her husband’s sportswear, and shares details of her diet and workout to her followers.
She promoted the brand regularly on YouTube, and the pair maintained a relationship across the pond until she moved to the UK.
A blossoming relationship
2021 was then a huge year for the pair.
They bought their own family home, a stone barn in the Cotswolds with beautiful views of the British countryside they’ve been doing up, with Robin posting a photo with the caption: “Lots of work to do but the renovations are well underway!”
That year the couple also got engaged, with Ben presenting Robin with a huge sparkling diamond ring, and they wed that September in a fairytale ceremony held in Chipping Norton at Cornwell Manor, a sprawling 2,000 acre estate.
The beautiful bride wore a Suzanne Neville designer gown, writing on Instagram it made her feel “like a princess” and “it was all of my dreams come true”.
‘My heart wants to explode’
Robin and Ben announced that they were expecting twins exactly a year later, in September 2022.
The pair welcomed identical twin boys, born on Christmas Eve, weighing a very healthy 5lb 15oz & 5lb 12oz.
In May Robin posted a beautiful photo of herself holding the pair, with the caption: “Happy birthday to me! I have the best birthday presents in the whole world - gifts that keep on giving.
“Life has only truly begun since the birth of my two boys, I love them so much… just looking at them makes my heart want to explode.”
‘I’m forever your biggest fan’
Robin makes no secret of how proud she is of her hubby.
Earlier this year, Ben popped up for the first time on the Forbes billionaires list, with an estimated net worth of $1.2billion (£992million), making him the UK's youngest billionaire.
He was also recently awarded an MBE, with Robin gushing on Instagram: “A belated congratulations to my incredible husband for being awarded his MBE last week!
“You never cease to amaze me @benfrancis, I am so proud of you and I’m forever your biggest fan.”
‘I’ve had a really tough few years’
It hasn’t all been smooth sailing, however. While Robin doesn’t take her enviable lifestyle for granted, she has also opened up to her followers about her mental health, sharing that she, like many people, suffers from anxiety.
On one post she shared during the pandemic, she bravely wrote: “I’m mostly staying positive everyday, reminding myself of everything to be grateful for (which is a lot) as often as possible!
”I can’t help but have an underlying anxiety, though... but I think that’s normal for us all at the moment.”

On another post she shared: “If you’ve been following me for a while you know I’ve had a really tough last few years personally with chronic illness, mental health and injury flare ups.
“I was very low for a big part of the last few years, so I can’t tell you how amazing it feels to finally have my health back, feel like myself and to also be achieving my DREAMS!”
