SHE'S the beloved children's TV star that mums and dads turn to for parenting advice.

But Ms Rachel's latest recommendation has raised a few eyebrows.

In a post on , the dungarees-wearing star confessed that she dresses her five-year-old son in his school uniform at bedtime, so that he's ready for the next day.

"We put on a nice new shirt, sweatpants - super comfy, great for jammies," she said.

"And then when he wakes up, we just throw on sneakers."

She went on to add that while "someday" she will "teach him to wake up for school and get dressed", adding "that will be a very good thing to teach, she "can't do that right now".

"And that's okay, I'm doing my best and so are you," she concluded.

"And I love you."

"What's your favorite tip or trick?" she captioned her video.

"We love this for us right now."

People were quick to weigh in on her admission, with many praising her for being so honest.

"Ms Rachel being so relatable is extremely healing," one wrote.

"I really just cried," another admitted.

"I think I really needed ms Rachel to say it’s okay to not be a perfect parent and I didn’t know I needed that."

"We love you thank you for letting us know that some peoples 'normal' is not always everyone else's 'normal'," a third commented.

While someone else said: "We love you Ms. Rachel thank you for always making us feel like we’re good parents when we’re struggling."

"I started doing this for my autistic daughter and it saves SO much time and energy," another said.

But others weren't convinced by her strategy.

"Tell me something that feels illegal but isn’t," one wrote.

NA Ms Rachel you wrong for this…a nice bath wakes you up," another added.

As a third commented: "I can’t even imagine this I’ll be honest.

"In the UK we're so ingrained in nightwear then day wear. I think cause of the weather."

"I think you should always teach your kids beforehand, get them up a little bit earlier," someone else said.

Ms Rachel then returned to the comments section to answer some questions, writing: "He bathes at night, he doesn’t get sweaty at night, if he did, we’d grab new clothes.

"Ps there’s been no issues with wrinkly clothes."
