My super easy hack peels and mashes potatoes in seconds, it’s a life saver for Thanksgiving dinner
WITH all the cooking that needs to get done for Thanksgiving, it’s useful to have a hack that will speed up the process.
One foodie shared her potato method that peels and mashes them in minutes.
TikToker and home chef Steph Gigliotti () often shares her “easy, yummy, and quick recipes,” as she calls them, with her followers.
In one , she touted her potato method as “the hack of all hacks.”
Step one: boil your potatoes whole, skin on and everything.
“While they’re still hot, cut them in half,” she said.
Next, place a cooling rack over a large bowl and put the halved potatoes on the rack with the flat sides facing downward.
“If you hate peeling potatoes, this one is for you.”
All you need to do is push the veggie through the cooling rack with your hand so that the squished pieces fall right into the bowl.
“It peels and mashes at the same time,” she raved.
