A MAN who weighed a staggering 48st reveals he was so big even the scales couldn't read his weight.
Drew Anderson, now 48, recalls that he got so big he felt like he was in a different body - a joke fat suit to be specific.
Appearing on TLC's family by the Ton, Drew, who was 43 at the time said he often felt like he was "in a fat suit" and just wanted to take it off to get back down to his size.
At the time, US-based Drew weighed 48st and revealed he was close to being bedridden by his weight.
He explained: "Even though it hurts me to walk, I still have to do it – otherwise I’m in danger of being completely bedridden.
“And people depend on me. I live with my mother. I’m her carer.”

He added: "I have to knock it off with this overeating before it kills me."
While going to visit Dr. Procter on the show to have weight loss surgery, Drew was unable to read his weight on the scales.
Drew hadn't stepped foot on scales in 10 years.
When he did, the scales couldn't read his weight and simply instructed him to see the operator.

The maximum weight the scale could track was 39 stone (550 lbs), almost 10 stones less than Drew's weight.
Desperate to get out of his size 18XL clothes, Drew went through with gastric bypass surgery and now looks unrecognisable after losing more than 12.5 stone (175lb).
The TV star has kept his social media followers updated on his weight lose journey since he came off screens in 2018.
Now calls himself the "fat activist" and "obesity ambassador", explaining he's "here to knock down stereotypes and insensitivity towards the disease obesity".
In one picture, Drew flaunted his slimmed-down figure while working a black button-down shirt and blue jeans.
He's revealed the key to successful weight loss is to change your entire lifestyle.
Drew wrote: "I've come a long way. It's called a journey for a reason. That [was] me then, this is me now. Better things to come."
Speaking about his journey, Drew admitted there have been "ups and downs".
One thing I learned from this situation, this whole journey, is that you will have ups and downs and you will have valleys and peaks.
"You will have times when you put in work and you see what you get and if you don't work, you'll see it.

"I've just been moving around better, the weight is coming off. I've just been feeling real good about myself and it's been going great," he told .
