Keen gardeners stock up on 10p B&M bargain which’ll guarantee beautiful blooms come spring
A BEAUTIFUL spring garden might seem like a distant memory – but it’s never too early to get prepared.
Keen gardeners have been spreading the word about a mega sale on seeds that will ensure you will have the perfect garden come the next season.
But the best part is that the packets are just 10p each from none other than B&M.
One lucky customer decided to shout about the bargain blooms when she took home a haul that would have usually cost considerably more.
But, due to the amazing in-store prices, the whole lot cost her just under £3.
The gardening fan took to the Facebook Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group to post a picture of approximately 29 packets she’d managed to get her hands on.

Among them were crocus, Allium and Anemone and various different types of pretty tulips.
She wrote alongside it: “For the gardeners out there, 10p a pack in B&M.”
“283 bulbs for £2.90,” she added.
It didn’t take long for fellow green-fingered social media users to take notice.

One person wrote: “Always room for more bulbs!”
Another person added: “OMG I need, I need!!!”
And for anyone who isn’t quick enough to nab some bargain seeds of their own, another shopper said there was somewhere else they could visit.
They helpfully pointed out: “Lidl are selling all their seeds 20p a pack if no one can get to B&M.”
This comes after a gardening pro shared her top tips on how to prepare your garden for next spring this winter.
Veronica Lorraine explained: “It’s finally here. Frost has hit and temperatures are dropping fast.
But while it might look like it’s gone into hibernation, your outside space is actually busy doing some very important jobs and shouldn’t be ignored.
“Bulbs are quietly working away at creating a deeper root system, as the cold temperature brings on chemical changes that prepare them for Spring growth.
“Clever perennial plants know it's time to go dormant - to stop growing and conserve energy - but under the surface their roots are also digging deeper.
“Some conifers keep on growing during the winter months, and evergreens provide a winter oasis for wildlife.
“So to give your outside space a helping hand while all this secret underground science is taking place, there’s a few tasks you can do now to make sure that when Spring comes, it’s ready to grow forth and multiply again.”
December tasks include moving and wrapping any plants in pots, or investing in a garden fleece to protect them from the bitter cold.
