Secret Tesco hack which knocks ALL your Christmas veg down to 15p – but there’s a catch
WITH most people overindulging at Christmas, it's important to make sure you are still getting your five a day.
Thankfully, your favourite supermarkets have slashed the price of fruit and veg - with shoppers finding a clever hack to get even bigger discounts.
As it is just a week until Christmas, many supermarkets are keen to get rid of their fresh produce before the the big day.
If you haven't bought your big shop, you are in luck as many chains will be announcing major discounts this week.
In fact, Sainsburys has already reduced their carrots, cabbage, and parsnips already with most veggies costing less than a pound.
However, there is a way to save even more as you prepare for Santa to arrive next week.

Rather than letting your loyalty card languish in your purse, you could get veg for less than 20p - so long as you are signed up.
This includes an 1kg sack of carrots, which usually costs 60p,now only 19p for those who are signed up to the supermarket's scheme and show their Nectar card at the till.
However, they aren't the only store offering bigger discounts with most supermarkets also running similar schemes to reduce food waste.
Clubcard holders can save even more though, as Tesco has also reduced its fruit and veg to 15p for members - with returning customers saving on Christmas dinner essentials.
According to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group on Facebook, the supermarket is even offering a 2kg bag of potatoes for just 15p.
For those needing to do their last shop before Christmas, this is perfect as you can save and stock up on those last minute bits for dinner.
It's not the only reason why we are keen to take a trip to the supermarket though.
From tomorrow (Dec 19), the supermarket is offering a Christmas dinner bundle which can feed up to six people but costs just £12.54 (£2.09 pp).
You won't have to forgo any trimmings either as the classic roast comes with a whole turkey (3.24kg), sprouts, carrots, potatoes and parsnips.
There are even cupboard essentials included such as a 12 pack of Yorkshire puddings, a tub of gravy granules and stuffing.
Just like the fruit and veg offer though, you'll need to need show your Clubcard at the checkout so you can get this great offer.
If you weren't already sold on visiting the supermarket, there is also an adorable mascot which is bound to steal your heart.
Cuter than any John Lewis advert, Curtis the Cavapoo is the perfect pooch and you can take him home without having to worry about walkies.
