Ben Beckley posted a picture of his very happy pet Chihuahua surrounded by a giant pile of red squeaky bone toys and bags of treat - 64 to be exact.

Taking to the Facebook group, , which boasts over 2million members, Ben shared his giant haul of sale items he bagged for just 20p each in Sainsbury's.

The bones and treats came in a stocking packaged up for Christmas and were slashed in price after the festive season had ended.

The dog-dad was thrilled he could stock up on treats for the entire year, buying at least 32 stockings for the total price of £6.40.

Ben captioned the post: "Thanks OP, 20p Stockings From Sainsbury's!

"This should keep the dogs happy for the next year!

"Normally buy single packs for £3 so worked out cheaper to buy lots!"

People were stunned by his massive haul and took to the comments to share their thoughts.

While some were thrilled for Ben - others allured to him being greedy and said he should donate some.

One person wrote: "That's a lot for one dog."

"Would have been great to donate some to a shelter though,  keep half and donate the other half," they added.

Another commented: "Personally I would be buying them and donating them to a needy Dog Rescue Charity, only keeping one each for my three dogs. I guess, each to their own though..."

"Hope you are going to give some to the rescue centres as they are struggling," penned a third.

Hitting back at the haters, the bargain hunter revealed he wouldn't be sharing his haul of goodies.

"Just to clarify - These will not be going to charity regardless of what anyone says! I WANT MY BARGAIN," he penned.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "Someone sees a bargain and snaps it up, others moaning that they didn't give it to charity. Have a day off will you?"

"Wow bargain well done,” claimed a fifth.
