Parents rush to Asda to snap up bargain Squishmallow duvet set that’s scanning for just £4.50

SAVVY parents are scrambling to get a hold of a bargain duvet set.

The duvet set which has been slashed to more than 70% off is bound to make you your child's favourite.

Taking to social media, one savvy shopper showed off the bargain find and let other parent's know where they could grab the Squishmallow duvet set.

Suzy Bousher posted a picture of the adorable bedding set which featured five different Squishmallow characters on a cheery festive print.

Squishmallow plushies have become a firm-favourite with the younger generation but can be pricey with toys starting at £10 each.

However, the mum was thrilled to see the duvet set in Asda and even more excited when it scanned even cheaper at the till.

Although the duvet was marked as £18 when Suzy went to pay for it she discovered it was in the sale and cost just £4.50.

";Priced at £18, scanned at £4.50! Asda," she captioned the post.

The product description reads: "Get ready for a cosy and comfortable sleep with the Squishmallows Single Duvet!

"This adorable bedding solution features a fun and playful design, with favourite soft and cuddly Squishmallow characters all over.

"It's machine washable and easy to care for, making it a practical and convenient option for busy parents."

The duvet set is currently still priced at £18 online, so you're best off heading to your local store to see if you can snatch it up for cheaper.

Social media users were quick to take to the comments eager to pick up the bargain buy for their own kids.

One person wrote: "Bet there's none in ours."

Another commented, tagging a friend: " If you see one would you grab it (for) me please."

"Omg I hope they have them tmz (tomorrow)," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "Keep an eye out for Harps."

"why is ours so useless never have anything like this there,” claimed a fifth.
