We were almost kicked off a plane because the flight attendant was offended by our outfits – they made us buy new shirts
A STYLISH mom was left red-faced after being told she couldn’t board a flight unless she changed her clothes.
She and a friend arrived at Detroit airport wearing matching outfits bought from online retailer Shein.
Karleeeee () was preparing to travel to New York on an economy flight when her sense of style sparked outrage.
She shared a clip of herself and a friend wearing matching orange cropped t-shirts with coordinating mini skirts as they strolled through the airport.
Their tops had the word Leo embellished across their chest.
“When you almost get kicked off the flight because the flight attendant was ‘offended’ by your outfit [skull emoji],” read the text over the video.

The duo laughed among themselves as they went in search of an alternative outfit.
“Literally made my friend buy shirts because they were sooo offended by what we were wearing,” she captioned the post.
She included the hashtags #Shein, #DetroitAirport and #Delta.
The mom explained the situation further in a follow-up after spotting a comment from someone agreeing with the flight attendant’s request for them to change.

“IDK [I don’t know] maybe they thought you would get all those germs on the plane on you,” the comment read.
Karleeeee and her friend had bought “cute” matching outfits for their birthdays.
She revealed it wasn’t because of how much of their skin was exposed that was the issue with the outfits.
“We were talking to the lady at the desk then right before we were about to board she stopped us,” she said.
“She was like ‘I’m sorry ladies, one of our flight attendants is super offended by your outfits.
"‘We’re gonna need you guys to change or we will have to find you another f**king flight to New York.’”
Karleeeee raged that she had never heard of there being a dress code for passengers traveling in economy.
She said the flight attendant seemed to be mostly looking at her friend when she spoke to them.
“She was looking directly at my b***h,” Karleeeee said.
“She was more so talking to my b***h than me, and y’all know why bro.
“Not only because of that but because she got them big yitties, ain’t s**t wrong with them," she said referring to her friend's breasts.
“They were covered up. Nothing was showing beside our midriff, barely our stomach and our legs.”
The mom said they were about to be the last people to board the flight as they waited for a flight attendant to look for covers.
To avoid missing their flight, her friend went to the gift shop opposite where they were waiting to buy T-shirts instead.
Karleeeee asked what was the issue with the clothes they were wearing that caused offense.
“She was like ‘Well, mam we can see your nipples,’” the mom said. “B**h you tried it, that s**t ain’t that thin now.”
Thousands of people watched the videos and took to the comment section to share their opinions.
“The worker is doing the most. The other passengers are just trying to get from point A to B, they don’t care about what others are wearing,” one person wrote.

“You can see them but they still shouldn’t have made her change,” another said.
“If you don’t like what someone’s wearing then don’t look. She was prob just jealous,” a third added.
