‘Wow’ shoppers say as Poundland starts selling ‘sexy’ £2.50 lingerie for Valentine’s Day and they think ‘why not?’
AS Valentine’s day approaches, many people will be tuning into their more romantic side of life.
The day, which is associated with romance, love, gives couples and singletons a chance to express their love for one another.
It is celebrated 14 February every year and involves people gifting each other presents and spending quality time together.
But with the cost of living crisis gripping the nation, a lot of Brits may find it difficult to head to the shops for their loved ones this year.
Luckily budget stores are here to help with their bargain buys - and shoppers are going wild for Valentine’s themed goods recently discovered.
Poundland is selling a black sexy underwear set which includes a bra, knickers and suspenders with prices starting from £2.50.

And that’s not the only set that romantics can get their hands on.
The budget store is also selling a set in red, as well as a red lace bodysuit which costs £9.
The knickers cost £2.50, whilst the bras cost £5 and the suspenders cost £4.
Poundland of the underwear sets to their Instagram account and shoppers rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One Valentine’s day fan gave a small review after trying these sets on herself.
She wrote: “Really nice fit and looks nice on.”
Whilst others simply complimented how nice they are.
One wrote: “Wow,” whilst another added: “Ooh why not buy. Sexy. I'm single.”
But others were disappointed at the pricing.
One shopper said: “Not a Poundland anymore very hard to find stuff for a £1”
And another added: “‘More-than-a-pound-land’.”
Underwear isn’t all that they are selling for Valentine’s day this year.
If you’re planning to surprise your loved one with a proposal, then the store is selling a £1 engagement ring in a heart box.
The retailer has released a range of ‘stand by’ rings for anyone who would like to propose to their partners.
And with it being a leap year, that means the females can take the reins too.
A leap year is a calendar year that contains an additional day compared to a common year and traditionally means that the women are allowed to propose to men on Leap Day, 29 February.
The Poundland stand by rings can be bought in store and can be found online - under the retailers Valentines Day gifts section.
Describing the rings online, Poundland writes: "Laugh together in love this Valentine's with our stand-by engagement ring.
