A WOMAN dating a man older than her mum insists their age gap relationship is the healthiest she’s ever had.
Brianna Hoffman, 28, is smitten with Craig, 50, after meeting at her work when he was a customer.
The couple, who have a two-year-old son, are engaged to get married and want to have another baby together.
Brianna also has a 10-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Despite Craig initially catching Brianna’s eye in the strip club where she worked, their romance blossomed and she’s never been happier.
She says: “I’ve always liked men a little older. My daughter’s dad was two years older, which, when we were 16 and 18, seemed like a lot.
“My following boyfriend was eight years older and now Craig is 22 years older.
“The best thing about being in a relationship with an older man is I feel like they’re more mature and understanding and easier to talk to.
“They know what they want and are genuinely ready and wanting to commit to having one partner.
“It’s a little bit of struggle because we grew up in different eras in time.

“He doesn’t understand my references sometimes. Sometimes I wonder what it’ll be like when I’m 50 and he’s 72.”
Brianna adds: “My family was pretty understanding.
“My mum was a little shocked because Craig is older than her by a couple years.
“She wondered what his intentions really were I guess.
“But now they’re good friends. My dad never cared because his wife is 12 years younger than him so I guess that he couldn’t really judge.”
And Brianna has the perfect response for anybody who claims her beau is "stealing her youth" - insisting she keeps him young instead.
She said: "He didn’t take s*** away from my youth because I literally do everything that I would be doing in my youth.
"I have a ball, I act my age."
She added: "What is happening is I’m taking away my fiance’s ability to be an old man.
"I’m sure when he was my age he thought by the time he’s 50 he is going to be on a beach house retired somewhere, sipping a pina colada, going to the chiropractor every day.
"But no, go outside and build a snowman with your two-year-old son. How about that one.
"He probably thought he was going to spend his Saturday nights at bingo. I am not going to bingo. Get dressed, we’re going to the club.

"Best I got for him is I’m going to let him have a nap before we go because you know he gets tired."
