WITH Easter only a few weeks away, many of us are looking forward to gorging on chocolate.
Some shoppers are starting early though, as Herron Foods has discounted some of our favourite sweet treats.
If you don’t live in the North or Midlands, you might not have come across this inexpensive supermarket.
However, Herron foods is known across the region for their various bargains with hundreds of discounted items on the shelves.
This is because the retailer has a rapidly changing range of products with new deals virtually every time you step through their doors.
In fact, one woman was lucky enough to stumble across a few of these as she did her weekly shop at the supermarket.

Sharing her multiple sweet treats on Facebook, she revealed that she’d managed to pick up four tubs of Celebrations for less than £15.
Instead of waiting until Christmas to indulge in the sweet treat, the savvy shopper was able to get mini versions of classic chocolate bars months early.
Whether your prefer a coconut-ty mini Bounty bar, nought-filled Milky Way or even the Malteaser truffle – there is something to suit every taste in this assortment box.
Recalling her find on the Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls group, the savvy shopper revealed that the 650g tubs had been reduced to just £2.50 each.

For those that haven’t done the maths, she spent just £10 on the four boxes which cost £6 each in other major supermarkets.
This wasn’t the only sweet treat the Facebook user picked up though, as she also found a range of cakes which were on sale for less than a £1 each.
Based around classic school puddings, the cakes included flavours like sticky toffee sponge and rich chocolate.
Large enough to feed a family of four, the frozen cakes could be defrosted in 45 mins and we can’t imagine you’ll be left with anything other than empty plates.
Whilst a similar sized cake would cost between £1.80 - £2.90, Heron Foods had a syrup sponge pudding in store for just 62p.
You could get also another dose of nostalgia as there was a chocolate cake with classic pink custard for the same price in the shop.
If you are still in the mood for something sweet, you can also get a plain chocolate cake for only 25p (yes, you read that right)!
Understandably, others in the group were impressed with these thrifty finds and were eager to pick up a few sweet treats themselves.
Many commenters were also surprised that they hadn’t come across the store before, with one even saying: “Never heard of Herons.”
However, the happy customer shared that there were plenty of bargains to be had and admitted that she’d picked up 8 tubs of Celebrations across multiple trips.
