THE leopard-print trend comes with a whole lot of history, but it's a catwalk fave for a reason - so here's why you should be giving it a go this season.
From Coronation Street's iconic barmaid Bet Lynch to Spice Girl Mel B, animal print has been an iconic look on our screens, runways and the high street for decades.
And now the mob wife trend has put this feline print back in the spotlight.
According to Clearpay, searches for leopard-print coats have soared 54 per cent, while Ganni's social-media-famous leopard print trousers have just been restocked after they sold out the first time round.
So if you want in on the trend, scroll down to find out how the Fabulous Fashion Team are styling their fave leopard-print pieces this spring.

As a fashion editor, I'm always telling people that leopard print is a neutral, but I still find it hard to weave into my wardrobe - to the point that I haven’t worn it since my twenties.
Back then it was a super-cute 60s vintage coat that I wore with a mini skirt and pointy flats.
Fast-forward 30 years and I just wasn't sure it was for me. Maybe I have seen it come round too many times!
But then I stumbled across these Ganni jeans (which I am sure every high-street shop is about to copy!). There is something so edgy about them that I love.

I've added a bright-green tank, an oversized trench and a pair of pointy boots.
I'd wear this look for a bottomless brunch in town with the girls followed by an afternoon of slightly tipsy shopping!

I love the signature Ganni leopard print and am delighted that the print is making a return across the high street.
I am obsessed with this dress - it’s a timeless, trans-seasonal piece that is ideal for any occasion and a real investment piece.
I’ve layered it over a T-shirt for an easygoing daytime look, but you could also team it with a pair heels for a day at the races.
Or it would even look great with a light tan on holiday, whether that be at the beach or with wedges in the evening.
These Mary-Jane pumps are also at the top of my wish list. They’re a great dupe for this pair, but without the £890 price tag, thank goodness!

I'm wholeheartedly embracing this trend - and I'm going bold! I’ve been lusting after Rixo's £458 leopard-print coat that I've seen everywhere, but it's both super-expensive and now sold out.
So, instead, I'm going for this gorgeous style from Albaray - it's a brand I can’t get enough of at the moment.
This coat is a little more muted in colour and the belt means I can wear it loose and more straight when open, and then belt it up when I want a defining shape.
For me, a busy print means everything else can be simple and plain, like these dark-wash, wide-leg jeans teamed with a classic black boot and cross-body bag.
For an injection of colour, I’d slip on a red jumper with a plain white T-shirt underneath, and add some chunky gold jewellery.
Et voila, a classic leopard-print look that will never date!

I’m so getting on board with the leopard trend at the moment. It’s a print that really does stand the test of time and always comes back around, so I don't mind investing in a statement piece I know I can wear for years to come.
I really wanted a pair of leopard-print jeans and had my eye on a Damson Madder pair.
Sadly, they seem to be sold out everywhere, so instead I’ve gone in a different direction and opted for this puff-sleeve Sister Jane blouse.
I love the shape of the sleeves and I’m all for a big collar on a shirt, so this blouse is perfect.

It's easy to dress this top up or down, but I’ve opted to keep the rest of my outfit casual, pairing it with some wide-leg jeans from Aligne and some classic Adidas trainers.
Adding a smart bag and some gold accessories gives it even more wearability. It's my new favourite outfit!
