THE SHOW has had the nation in a chokehold ever since it came onto our screens in 2007.
Fans were devastated when the hit BBC show Gavin and Stacey came to an end - but new rumours that a new Christmas Special is in the making has people in a tizzy.

And there's one superfan in particular who will be thrilled by the news, Lisa Portsmouth who dedicated her time to creating a pub in her spare room dedicated to the show.
Lisa, 56, revealed she loved nothing more than curling up on the sofa to re-watch episodes of the feel-good series.
With news that the iconic show is returning to screens after five years off the air, she's getting ready to take her passion to the next level.
I know I've spent a lot on my love for the show, but I wouldn't change a thing."

“It’ll be great to find out if Smithy married Nessa – and also what happened on the fishing trip.
“In March, we’re going to see Rob Brydon at the Mayflower Theatre too.”
During the Covid 19 lockdown, Lisa decided to create a pub in the back of her garden as she couldn't visit her local.
And what better excuse than to make it completely Gavin and Stacey themed?

"I’m absolutely obsessed with the show, when I’m having a bad day or feeling low, I re-watch all the episodes just for the feel-good factor because it really cheers me up," she said.
"I think a lot of fans feel the same way about the show, even 15 years on and I know we’re all feeling on edge wanting to know the outcome of Nessa and Smithy’s proposal which has to be my best moment from the show."
Gavin and Stacey ‘returning’ after five years off screens
Lisa who became obsessed with the show has travelled down to Barry Island multiple times to collect memorabilia such as glasses, mugs and tea towels.
Her collection has become so big she now has an entire pub in her home to display her memorabilia which has set her back £2,000.
"I wouldn't change it for the world," she added.
She was instantly hooked on adding to her collection and began buying the casts' autographs, fridge magnets and chopping boards.
The superfan even managed to bag a signed towel from Uncle Bryne, played by Rob Brydon - which reads 'Don't mention the fishing trip,' after the shows most mysterious stories.
Lisa even went on a tour bus in Wales which showed the most famous scenes filmed there and even managed to go into Stacey's house - owned by a woman named Glenda.
The pair have become best friends and Lisa often stops round when she is visiting for a cup of a tea.
Her most prized possession is a signed picture of the character Doris, actress Margret John.
The cleaning company supervisor, from Southampton, even visited the iconic Island for Christmas in 2019 so she could watch the Christmas Special exactly where it happened.
For the highly anticipated revival, she’ll pop on her Gavin and Stacey T-shirt and watch with friends and family while surrounded by her impressive collection.
The 56-year-old added: "I know I've spent a lot on my love for the show, but I wouldn't change a thing.

"It's my comfort show and I've formed long-lasting friendships with some of the cast.
"The memories it's given me are something that money can't buy and I owe it all to Gavin and Stacey."
