Sylvester Stallone ‘regurgitates Rocky clichés as daughters chip away at alpha male status’ in Season 2 of reality show
Sylvester Stallone does not seem to be able to give up the chest-bumping or taking people on, says a pro
SYLVESTER Stallone will never relinquish his Rocky alter-ego despite his family’s efforts to enjoy the limelight in their reality series, a body language expert has said.
She claimed that the 77-year-old acting legend littered the second season of The Family Stallone with plenty of his iconic punches and “chest bumps.”
Season 2 of The Family Stallone premieres tonight on Paramount+, and the trailer was shared by Sly on .
The first season won over viewers as it showed the lives of movie star Sylvester and his glamorous family.
This time, body language expert says movie star Sylvester has not progressed in his “reality stardom” and lives in the past.
In a show initially set to rival The Kardashians, Sylvester’s three daughters were originally tipped as the next Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe.
James claimed Sophia, 27, Sistine, 25, and Scarlet, 21, were supposed to be front and center when the new episode streaming begins.
“The Stallones daughters as a whole are moving on nicely with their new-found reality fame,” James told The U.S. Sun.
“This new season shows the younger women moving onward and upward in Hollywood.
“But Sly’s gestures in his reality stardom only regurgitate his Rocky days.
“It is as if he was staying in the old role which holds him back.
“It is perhaps like a child playing with his train set and can not let go of the trains.
“Sly might want to return to the past like this.
“The girls are toughening up with this show now and with the aim of it being all about them.
“Sly is seen in the trailer shouting mantras about being confident.
“He is seen pushing them to be stronger women.
“But then Sly does his chest-bumping, which is fairly old school,” James concluded.
The Academy Award winner launched his movie career in 1972.
Sylvester started filming Rocky in 1976 after writing the first script in as little as three days.
Since then, the iconic Rocky movies have won three Oscars.
Sylvester put out his last two Rocky offshoots, Creed 1 and 2, in 2015 and 2018.
From there, the actor starred in blockbusters such as Rambo and Cop Land.
He married Sasha Czack in 1974 and had sons Sage and Seargeoh with her.
Sylvester shares Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet with his wife, model Jennifer Flavin, 55.
Jennifer also seems to be marinating in their new-found status in this second season.

Jennifer, a former model, met Sylvester in 1988 at a Hollywood restaurant.
The pair married in 1997 after spending a year apart.
The couple also overcame a rocky patch in 2023 after she had filed for divorce.
As well as caring for her family, Jennifer co-owns a wellness brand, .
“We’re much more comfortable now in front of the camera and just talking and being ourselves,” Flavin told about the new show.
James said Jennifer seems to be lapping her newfound reality TV fame.
“Jennifer looks very confident and is seen throwing some wild Jackie Chan kick-boxing moves,” she said.
“She also seems to be marinating in their newfound status in this second series.
“Ascending the stairs in a family flotilla, she has one hand in Sly’s crooked arms.
“Jennifer claims she felt like royalty.
At one point in the trailer, Sly sat in front of the camera as if he would take that on, too.
“But Sly’s overkill mouth-shrug gesture and raised eyebrows suggest cynicism and doubt.
“Sly might disagree with Jennifer on this.”
James claimed Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet try to find space to shine at home.
“The three daughters seem to be snipping away at their dad’s alpha male status,” she said.
“The challenge of the head of the household status seems to have resulted in some interesting body language.
“At one point in the trailer, Sly sits in front of the camera as if he would be taking that on, too.
“He shouts, ‘Keep punching,’ before adding, ‘Give me an excuse to go ballistic.’
“It is only when he uses these words that Sylvester’s eyes truly light up.”
Through season 1, viewers got to know the Stallone daughters closely through all their dramas and antics.
Scarlet appeared to be the only one out of the three in a relationship.
James noticed Belgian Olympic skier Louis Masquelier-Page making his reality TV debut in Season 2.
“Although the toothsome new date featured here looks less like Mr. D’Arcy and more like Justin Bieber,” she said.
“One of the Stallone’s Justin Bieber-type boyfriends appears in this series.”
Older daughter Sophia, 26, is a professional model and shares the Unwaxed podcast with Sistine.
It seems the two older sisters are still “on the dating scene,” said James.
“The three girls called the new series a live dating show,” said James.
“One of them boasted that she had a date with a guy every night of the week.”
James added, “This promo trailer gave the Stallones a new Jane Austen comes to Hollywood vibe.
“It looked like a cut above the Kardashians.
“Because of their family set-up, with the very traditional dad, the ambitious mom, and three single daughters to get married off, it is pure Pride and Prejudice.
“But the show retains that classic Hollywood style where the daughters are rising stars.
“Sylvester appears to be clinging on to the past.”
