We’re in a throuple & we’re each OFFICIALLY parents to our baby… he has three surnames, two mums & one VERY proud daddy
A THROUPLE have welcomed their first baby with one dad, two mums and a court order putting them all on the birth certificate.
Jamille Ferreira, 34, became pregnant soon after she began dating Ruan Vieira, 28, and Natalia Nogueira, 27.
Jamille welcomed baby Bernardo in 2022, and the 16-month-old will now have both his mums' names included on his birth certificate as well as his dad's.
The boy will not only have many surnames, but also numerous relatives as he will grow up surrounded by six grandparents.
In February, a judge at the family's native Fortaleza, Brazil, ruled that all parents were awarded the right to list themselves on official documents.
They said: "There is no doubt about the existence of the state of mother and child given the emotional bond between them, characterising a true socio-affective relationship.
"Therefore, what can be extrapolated from this entire process is that the second author can also be considered the socio-affective mother of the minor."
Celebrating the news, mum Jamille told : “It was very important for us. It wasn't just Natalia's right as a mother, but Bernardo's, mainly. This brings [us] a lot of happiness.”
Once Bernardo was born, the Court requested visits from a psychologist and social worker to analyse the throuple's relationship before making a decision.
"When the psychologist came, I commented that it was very easy and wonderful to share motherhood with Natália," Jamille said.

"With this evidence and the psychologist's visit, the lawyer petitioned and the judge dismissed the social worker's visit."
The trio have been dating for three and a half years.
They began their relationship after Jamille and Ruan, who were already married, decided to widen their lives and linked up with Natalia.
The 27-year-old also shared the dream of having a child.
“We were already planning to have a baby. Natália followed everything, the prenatal consultations, the cleaning of the room, the shopping for clothes. All. When we discovered the pregnancy, she already knew everything about humanised birth”, Jamille said.
But Jamille said the joys of expecting a child were conflicting with the worry of maybe not getting Natalia recognised as Bernardo's mum.
That's why the trio started the legal process as early as possible, with Jamille six months' pregnant with their son.
Family law expert Ana Zelia Cavalcante, who took on the case, explained: "In the first half of 2022 I received contact from Natalia, who told me that she was living in a polyamorous union in the form of a three-way relationship.
"She said that Jamille was pregnant, going into her sixth month, and explained that she wanted to have social motherhood recognised."
Cavalcante added that Jamille, Natalia and Ruan all have the same parental duties, “including in terms of succession”.
She explained: “If the relationship dissolves, for example, his alimony rights belong to all three parents."
The throuple are now waiting for the court paperwork to come through so they can go to the register office and add Natalia's name to Bernardo's birth certificate.

They said: "This unity, being surrounded by people who understand and support us, helps a lot.
"Bernardo will face the difficulties of prejudice, but he is being raised to be proud of the family he has.”
