Meanwhile, some people are just finding out what ASOS really stands for

And if you've ever stayed at a Travelodge, you might have looked at the logo for the company and admired the "mountain" view.

However, people have been left mind-blown after discovering that the image doesn't, in fact, show a hilly landscape.

Instead, it's actually a profile view of a man laying down asleep.

People took to TikTok to marvel over the discovery, with one writing: "Since when was the Travelodge logo someone asleep in bed?

"This whole time I thought it was a hill and some mountains!"

"HOW did it take me SO LONG to realise it's some geezer lying down, not mountains and a sunset?!" they added.

"I worked for Travelodge... I didn't even know this!" another laughed.

"All these years I stayed at Travelodge hotels, and I never knew this," someone else admitted.

"Omg I always thought it was hills and a sunset," another commented.

"Whaaaat? I used to work in a Travelodge for years and always thought it was mountains!" someone else admitted.

However, others insisted the logo had a double meaning.

"It's both - that's the point!" one wrote.

"Travelodge. Travel + lodge. Travelling + sleeping."

"Isn't it meant to be both? Travel and sleeping?" another added.

"Yeah, supposed to be both," a third agreed.

"They've travelled over roads hills etc and are tired."

"I always thought this and I thought there's a pillow, a blanket and a face in it with a sunset so I’m guessing its both?" someone else said.
