‘The most polluted gender reveal known to man, it’s out of control’ people slam influencer’s extravagant unveiling
A COUPLE have left people totally stunned by their extravagant gender reveal party, with some branding it "wasteful" and "out of control".
Lithuanian influencer Inga Stumbriene recently threw an over-the-top bash to announce the gender of her child.
But what she described as "a beautiful and cosy family celebration" has left people totally divided.
Inga and her partner stood in front of a huge balloon display - one side had the word GIRL surrounded by pink balloons while on the other side was the word BOY amongst blue balloons.
The couple stood next to each other as they watched three planes flying in the air.
It was later revealed that the couple were expecting a boy.
BIG DIVIDE
Posting to her 60,000 Instagram followers under the username @, Inga shared a clip from her lavish event which has since gone viral.
One user beamed: “So beautiful.”
A second chimed in: “This is impressive!!! You make Lithuania famous.”
Whilst another user penned: “Beautiful and great, you must not pay attention to the envious.”
However, not everyone was impressed, as others described it as "wasteful" and "polluted".
One person said: “The most selfish and wasteful way to do a gender reveal... I’m all for unique gender reveals but this is just plain pompous, arrogant and so over the top… Literally…”
Another added: “This baby reveal is getting out of control.”
A third commented: “The most polluted gender reveal known to man.”
Whilst someone else wrote: “That’s not necessary.”
Another angry social media user slammed: “You did it to get that 10 minutes of fame huh? Embarrassing how one can do so much damage to our dying earth for a stupid reveal.”
INGA CLAPS BACK
Despite the backlash, Inga shared: “Meanwhile we are enjoying unspeakable joy and peace at home, it seems that the whole world is literally going crazy for our gender reveal.”
The video has since amassed a staggering 25 million views on her profile alone, as she continued: “The post of this celebration is shared by Instagram profiles with millions of audiences, and thousands of people commenting…
“Frankly speaking, I really didn't expect it when I was planning this beautiful and cosy family celebration that touched so many hearts of the world.
“Once again I want to thank the whole team who fulfilled my expectations and made this dream a reality.”
Inga later revealed the fabulous news that her son has now been born.
