‘Trolls are piranhas, I get abuse about a bad joke I made years ago, they want me to be an a**hole,’ says Vogue Williams
SHE may have made a bad joke years ago - but according to Vogue Williams, she is still getting haunted by it now.
The Irish model and TV star, 38, made headlines in 2022 after a joke she'd made ''didn't land'' the way she might've expected - leading Vogue getting slammed by trolls.
The mum-of-three had shared a story about how she'd once demanded a man switch seats on the plane - which, she later explained in a podcast, was just a ''joke''.
Vogue, from Howth, explained recently how the male passenger on a then refused to swap seats with her - , .
After sharing the incident, the blonde beauty was blasted by the vast majority of listeners who had tuned in - which caused Vogue to respond to the critics.
Hitting back at trolls, she wrote: "Enough of this. I would never expect or demand anyone swaps a seat with me.

''It was a joke that definitely didn’t land."
She explained she had booked daughter Gigi in the window seat, herself in the middle and son Theodore in the aisle in a set of three seats.
Unfortunately for the family, the mum-of-three had failed to book her hubby Spencer, 35, beside them.
Speaking of the podcast, Vogue said: "I was sitting in an aisle of three and I had booked the wrong seat on the other aisle, and that was my mistake.

"Spenny was like, 'Would you mind doing window instead of aisle so we can be all together?' and he's like 'Yes Spencer, I would mind.'
"When he realised he was being an absolute t**t, he looked at me with a new born baby and the two kids beside me, he was like 'Okay, fine, fine I'll do it.'
"Literally, the air hostess came down and I was like, 'Have you got another aisle seat for this f***ing particular piece of s***e over here?' He was awful."
Spencer - who tied the knot with Vogue in 2018 - then chimed in: "He was rubbish."
'Trolls are piranhas'
Now, a few years after the incident took place, Vogue shared her thoughts about trolls in an episode of her chart-topping podcast .
Chatting to her pal Joanne McNally, the 38-year-old said: ''People wait around - they're like little piranhas.
''They literally wait around until you do the slightest thing wrong - and then they attack, and that's just the way the world works.''
According to Vogue - who recently scolded his hubby for being ''vain'' - this is all down to the haters simply feeling ''insignificant within themselves''.
''Why do you care?
''There's a couple of people in our industry [...] that would very much sell their granny for a job or be like 'Why did they get that job?','' Vogue said, leaving room for speculation amongst fans.
''But you would've never gotten that job because it's not even in, like, your area - yet you're getting annoyed that someone else is getting it.
''There's so much of that around.
''I still get abuse for that today,'' Vogue told her pal.
