A WOMAN who became a teen mum was hoping her daughter would choose a different path from the one she picked.
But Misty Dawn was left embarrassed when she found out her eldest daughter, riley, announced her pregnancy.

The young gran and mum-of-four regularly shares her life on social media - where she is often mistaken for being decades younger than she actually is.
But that's not the only thing that's caught their attention - many are stunned that misty is already a grandma at the age of 37.
"I got pregnant at 15 and became a mum at 16 being a mum so young, was not the funnest thing in the world, obviously there's a lot of trials with," she told .

"I received a lot of judgment about being a teen mum, I was doing the same thing that lots of other kids or children were doing at my age, and I was the only one being judged for, it because I had a bump under my shirt."

But the mum said she doesn't regret being a teen mum despite how difficult it was and wants to use her platform to let other teen mums know they aren't alone.
Misty, who is often mistaken for looking years younger than her actual age, says people thought she was lying about her daughter's pregnancy to get attention online.
While Riley is 20 and not technically a teenager any more - the young mum's pregnancy means Misty has become an extremely young grandmother.
"It is a little strange to be a grandmother at 37 at first I was a little embarrassed to tell people," Misty explained.

"I thought they're going to see me as this old lady but now that I've gotten used to it I'm really excited I am a free-spirited mom but I'm also strict."
Despite now being a grandmother - Misty is still mistaken for being younger than she is and many people took to the comments to say they thought she was her daughter.

But Misty has no clue how she has managed to avoid the hands of time.
"People think that I look 22 but I'm about to become a grandma I don't know the secret to my youthful looks people ask me this all the time," she added.
The clip posted to YouTube account has since gone viral with over 14,000 views.
One person wrote: "Thought the mum was the child, I’m shocked lol."
Another commented: "Omg me too."

"The mum looks younger than her daughter," penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: "I thought mum was the teenager."
"Honestly the fact she’s loving and supportive is amazing. Plus being young she has SO much more energy, and she gets SO much more years then grandmas who don’t become a grandma till 60s or so,” claimed a fifth.
