Social media users described her new hallway as ‘amazing’ and ‘awesome’

The DIY enthusiast, who is named Lor Rain, took to social media to show off a before and after look at her hallway, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on , a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Lor shared pictures of her once very plain hallway, as she penned: “I had already started, hence the mess!”

She then attached snaps of the finished hallway – complete with posh new flooring and a fresh lick of white paint.

The DIY fan then added: “100% done on a budget!

“Just need to add trim along the baseboards and I’m going to spray paint door handles and the letterbox black!

“But I’m chuffed with the outcome.”

Lor then opened up to Fabulous about her renovation project, as she explained: “I got the floor tiles from Shein. There were nine tiles in a pack and less than £4 per pack.”

Lor explained that the stick-on tiles were very simple to lay, as she beamed: “They are super easy to put down.

“I did use an adhesive spray for extra grip and they were super easy to cut.

“What I will say is some tiles were bigger than others which resulted in them not exactly matching perfectly but I made it work and I’m happy with them.”

I'm an interior designer…the 5 five items are making your home tacky - people don't realise neutral colours clash too

She also added: “I used regular Dulux gloss paint that I paid £20 for the big tub from B&M and the gloss I used high gloss from Dulux trade – that was a little pricey but it gave me the best coverage.

“The accessories I got from B&M, so it was all done on a budget!”
