How Stacey Solomon is set to make £1.5 MILLION flogging beauty products… as she goes solo and launches her own company

Stacey might be eyeing up the US market with her new company after being taken under a Hollywood actress' wing, Nick Ede predicts

STACEY Solomon has set up her own beauty company – and she’s set to make millions, a culture expert has revealed.

The telly personality, 34, set up a new company named Belle & Rose Ltd in February year with plans to sell beauty products and tools in “specialised stores”.

Experts predict the down to earth mum-of-five’s brand will focus on helping fellow mums

And according to culture expert Nick Ede, this career pivot could see her turning over at least £1.5 million.

The mum-of-five clearly developed an appetite for the beauty industry after investing in haircare brand Rehab in October last year.

It has gone from strength to strength over the last six months, with its newly launched Matcha Hair Oil selling out in hours on May 1 – with 17,000 currently still on the waitlist.

Followers of Stacey, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009, may have noticed her doing more beauty tutorials on her social media channels in recent months.

And according to Nick, she is gearing fans up for the big Belle & Rose Ltd launch.

She tested a £10.50 serum for “duck lips”, showcased how she puts on fake eyelashes every morning and even dropped a hair curling routine.

“What’s really exciting about Stacey is that she’s such a national treasure,” Nick tells Fabulous.

“What she’s probably looking at now is how she can re-diversify and maximise on her appeal.

“What people like about her is that she’s very, very honest about the way she looks – sometimes she’s really glam, and sometimes she’s not.”

IN THE BAG

It’s currently unclear exactly what Stacey will be producing under Belle & Rose Ltd – whether it be make-up, haircare, skincare or beauty tools.

But it’s likely she’ll be producing everyday beauty products for mums on-the-go, such as easy-to-use haircare or all-in-one creams, Nick predicts.

“She’s always been very down-to-earth,” he says.

“If you have a look at the success of her collaborations with Primark and Asda, she knows that she has a demographic of people who really buy into what she does.

Fabulous spoke to culture expert Nick Ede about Stacey’s new beauty brand

“Her TV shows are all centred around helping people, giving them that extra boost and support.”

That includes her latest telly venture, Channel 4’s Renovation Rescue, where she helps homeowners who’ve been left high and dry by their builders salvage their homes.

“I think doing that, and using make-up and hair products to do that at affordable prices, will be really great for her,” Nick says.

DRAWING INSPIRATION

Nick compared Stacey’s career pivot to Sam Faiers and reckons she might draw inspiration from the mum-of-three.

The ex-TOWIE star co-founded Revive Collagen in 2020 and has scaled the brand by getting A-List brand ambassadors on board.

Nick predicts that Stacey’s new beauty company might take on a similar strategy – especially given her latest Hollywood connections to Reese Witherspoon’s production company.

“I think Stacey can make millions,” he predicts.

She is such a savvy businesswoman and she’s got such great support, both on her social media but also in the press

Nick Ede, on Stacey Solomon

“She is such a savvy businesswoman and she’s got such great support, both on her social media but also in the press.

“People love her, they love her hacks.

“What’s going to be really interesting is how she monetises this.

“Is she going to create really great haircare which is going to be really simple and easy to use – one wash-and-go vibe?

“You know, really helping all the women who really support and who really buy into her.”

HOLLYWOOD’S CALLING

Stacey might be trying to break the US with her new company and is likely eyeing up getting her products stocked in Sephora, Nick says.

He explained that Reese Witherspoon has taken Stacey under her wing, with telly opportunities through the actress’ production company Hello Sunshine on the horizon.

“I can imagine Stacey is really eyeing up the USA,” he predicts.

“The kids are getting older, she’s got that flexibility.

“You never know, with Reese Witherspoon behind her, we could be seeing her taking it over there and we’ll see her products in Sephora – not just Boots.
