Thanks to Primark answering Britain’s fashion cries, a number of on-trend waistcoat co-ords are up for grabs for less than £20 a piece.

That includes the matching Relaxed Waistcoat and Pleat Front Bermuda Short for £18 a pop - making the full co-ord just £36.

And you’re guaranteed to get your money’s worth as the set can be dressed down with trainers or dressed up with sandals.

Shoppers have dubbed the khaki co-ord “fantastic for summer” after the fast fashion label showcased it on Instagram

The lightly tailored Bermuda Shorts were also dubbed “luxe yet laid back”.

“Part of The Edit collection, which is defined by elevated aesthetics, fluid silhouettes and clean lines, these Bermuda shorts are nothing short of a smart-casual must-have,” Primark bosses said.

“Offering a silhouette that’s reminiscent of classic tailoring, these Bermuda shorts are an ode to the timeless style first conceived back in 1914 as a uniform option in the heat.

“They’re able to slip between smart and casual with effortless ease.

“They feature a high-waist complete with belt loops and a button fly, side pockets as well as rear pocket details, and knife pleats to add further structure to the piece.

“Pair with the coordinating waistcoat for a deconstructed formal outfit or style with anything from a lightweight blouse to a boxy tee to create your desired look!”

They added that the matching waistcoat has “unlimited styling potential”.

“We love a timeless piece that is just waiting to be styled by a new generation of creative thinkers,” bosses explained.

“And this waistcoat is the perfect example of how a garment can be made fresh and exciting with a little thought.

“Cut to a classic silhouette with a lightweight fabric, this structured piece features a V-neck, single-breasted button front with points and a dual front pocket design.”

Fabulous' Deputy Fashion Editor on why Primark PJs are so popular

ABBY McHale reveals why Primark is renowned for its nightwear section.

Taking over large sections of the stores it has everything from trend led satin styles, to fluffy Disney PJ's and everything in between.

Plus it means you can head to bed looking and feeling good without having to break the bank.

It's also a great place to bag yourself a pyjama dupe.

Last year Primark had a great version of the Skims pyjamas and its latest dupe is that from Victoria's Secret.

The pink striped pyjamas are a great match for that of the American lingerie brand, I even have a pair myself.

They're lightweight, super comfortable and only a fraction of the price - what’s not to love.

Designers incorporated skipping darts “to create a more relaxed fit”.

The result was a waistcoat “minimalistic enough that it creates a blank canvas for you to build a look upon”.

Earlier this year, Primark revealed its plans to invest more than £100 million in its UK stores in 2024.

The move comes as the Irish fashion giant marks 50 years on the Great British High Street.
