‘Sounds like hell’ mums say as ‘rockstar’ goes to Glasto with toddler & shows harsh reality before the gates even open

A MUM has revealed the harsh reality of getting to Glastonbury even before the gates open.
We all know how difficult it is to even get Glastonbury tickets, but once you’ve got them, it seems the struggle doesn’t end.
Olivia from the UK shared the crazy day she had in store for getting a good camping spot for her family at the festival – waking up at 2:15am.
She said: “My alarm being set for 2am can only mean one thing.
“We’re going to Glastonbury. We rustled our smallest family member from his slumber and attempted the very risky transfer to the car, and it was a success.”
The mum revealed that she was heading there with her partner, her toddler, beau and was also pregnant.
To top it off, it was the hottest day of the year.
The gates to the camping site opened at 8am so the family made sure they were there for 4:45am sharp.
Although the family got there early, there were already thousands of people in front of them queuing to get in the queue.
Olivia prepared for the long day ahead with packed lunches and thanked Peppa Pig for keeping her tot entertained.
Shattered by the early morning they managed to get in a nap before the queue started to move.
She added: “Every time we thought we were getting closer, the queue would finish and another queue would begin.
“There were portaloos along each section of the queue, but I do not understand how they were already in such a horrible state.”
She added that queuing was like ‘survival of the fittest‘ and everyone became too stressed and stopped talking to each other until they got to the gate.
Thankfully, her toddler managed to fall asleep for the majority of the queuing.
At 10am they were finally at the front and managed to grab their wristbands and head to their family camping spot.
