This is because fans of the popular discount supermarket have spotted a new chocolate on the shelves - and it's going for a total bargain price too.

One customer, only known as @, took to TikTok to inform fellow shoppers of the store about the incredible deal, and if you have a sweet tooth, this treat is not one to sleep on.

''There's new chocolate bars in Aldi,'' the customer said in .

''The Golden Blonde chocolate bars by Dairyfine - and there's also a crispy one as well.''

Both white chocolate bars are selling for under £1.50, setting you back £1.39 - quite a bit cheaper compared to Cadbury's White Chocolate which is going for £2.

Some shoppers reckoned that this treat could be a ''dupe'' of another firm favourite - White Crunch by Nestle, which retails for £1.89.

Others, meanwhile, wondered if this was Aldi's version of Caramac, which was discontinued in 2023.

It seems that Dylan's video has clearly impressed many, as it's racked up close to a staggering 80k views in just one day.

Dozens of social media users flocked to comments to tag their pals and share their thoughts.

One was sure to plan a trip back to their nearby branch, as they cried: ''Stop it!!! I’ve been in Aldi 3 times in the last couple of days and not even seen these!''

Irish chocolate lovers set for frenzy as Cadbury to bring back 'yummy' 90s bar

''Prefer these to Cadbury's,'' chimed in another, giving the chocolate a thumbs-up.

A third customer was also delighted with the treat, praising the taste.

''Genuinely they are delicious, i bought one yesterday!''

However, not everyone will be racing to the store to give the chocolate a go - and some even urged others to steer clear of the £1.39 buy.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items - when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi's 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found - if you're quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: "All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates."

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store's times by using the supermarket's

For Specialbuys - Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi's weekly collection of items that it doesn't normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store's opening time.

You don't have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and .

As long as you spend at least £25, you'll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they're gone, they're gone, so if there's something you really want, visit as early as possible

''Worst chocolate,'' a critic exclaimed, adding several puke emojis next to the comment.

''yuk they taste like grease,'' another also wasn't amazed by the sweet.
