In a new episode of The Therapy Crouch, Abbey Clancy’s podcast with her hubby Peter Crouch, which was released today, the British broadcasting legend Jonathan Ross, 63, joined Abbey, 38, and Peter, 43, along with his daughter and reel talk co-host, Honey Ross, 27.

The hilarious duo lifted the lid on nepotism, and shared how they began working together on their podcast Reel Talk.

Johnathan explained: “I do a film music show for Classic FM and they said we’d like you to do a podcast.

“I said ‘ok, but if I do it i think there should be a woman’s voice there with me’.

“I said ‘I’m not sure who, I don’t know anyone’, and he, Chris, suggested ‘you should do it with your daughter, would you be prepared to work with her?’”

But Johnathan’s reaction might surprise you – as he added: “The answer was no to be honest with you.

“I wanted to protect [Honey] from the charge of nepotism, which would come out anyway. Everything thinks you’re doing it for that.”

But Honey, who lives a very lavish life, then chimed in: “That’s always coming at me anyway, there’s nothing I can do about it.”

Honey explained that she is keen to prove herself in the celeb industry, as she shared: “I’ll do anything. I’ve been really fortunate in the industry and I’ve also really kind of felt the need to prove myself, because everyone is like ‘you’re a nepo baby’.

“So I really have to put a shift in and be good at what I’m doing, or everyone will hate me.”

Honey then admitted that she was “conscious” of her privilege, as she added: “I’ve been in the public eye my whole life, without opting into that. I was born into that.”

Honey recognised the “pitfalls” of showbiz, as she admitted: “It’s made me understand how it all works and operates and it set me up in a position to start working in this industry and understanding the highs and the lows of it, and the real pitfalls that come with it, and there are many.

“But I really love film and TV, it’s my greatest love, which is why it’s such a privilege to get to write it.”

Alongside writing film and TV scripts, Honey is also a body positive activist.

She revealed: “I’ve been working quietly in the film industry for ten years now.

I’ve just been doing my best I guess, I’ve just been trying

“I’m a writer but I don’t talk about it too much because I think if you’re talking about it too much then you’re not actually writing.

“My passions have been film and TV for a really long time.

“I did a podcast about body image a few years ago which I’m really proud of.

Inside Honey Ross' lavish life

SHE might be the daughter of one of British TV’s most famous faces, but Honey Ross has become famous in her own right.

The youngest of TV presenter Jonathan Ross‘s three children, she has thrust herself into the limelight over the last three years as a body positivity activist and author.

The 27-year-old, whose full name is Honey Kinny, kept a relatively low profile until she appeared on Loose Women to reveal that her famous parents put her on “” as a teen.

Fast forward to 2024, she now lives a star-studded life of red carpets with dad Jonathan, 63, bikini-clad beach holidays and living it up in London with her best friends.

Honey grew up in a £4 million house in Hampstead, North London, with “bohemian” parents who adored her.

Now, she has her own swanky pad in the city that she reportedly shares with her best friend and features in the back of lots of her Instagram posts.

It has exposed brick walls, large mirrors dotted around the place and dark wooden floors.

Honey has been appearing on red carpets with dad Jonathan since 2001.

And while back then she was a shy child with her fringe over her face, things have drastically changed.

“Because of my parents, I got to go to red-carpet events,” she told The Sun in 2020. “It was so exciting. I’d get to put on a silly outfit and have a great time.”

Now, Honey gets invited by her own accord – and recently strutted down the pink carpet at the Barbie premier with her famous dad and posed up with reality TV royalty Gemma Collins

“I used to do a lot more activism in my early 20s, but then I got very jaded by everything.

“I’ve just been doing my best I guess, I’ve just been trying.”

Following this, Johnathan then chimed in: “She’s an amazingly gifted writer.”
