How to dress younger
Speaking to The US Sun, fashion enthusiast Deidre, better known as my My Friend Deidre on , gave some tips on looking younger in with what you wear.
“I would say to ladies don't be led entirely by trends, but have a broad awareness of what’s out there.
“It's keeping up with a little bit of what's going on that makes you seem more youthful," the 58-year-old said.
“Particularly when you get a bit older, 80% of your wardrobe needs to be classics that you can just grab.
“You know that they're gonna look good and they're gonna be reliable and dependable.
“That last 20% can be trying out trends.”
"Multiple miscarriages, stretch marks and loose skin from carrying my five babies, shoulder joint restrictions after three surgeries, cellulite, osteoarthritis, a benign but not problem free tumour in my back muscles and I have just been dealt another curveball, which I will share more about soon," she said in a recent Instagram post.
Despite it all, she said she is "grateful" for her body.
"No one has a ‘perfect’ body because perfect can’t be defined. Is perfect disease free? Is perfect flawless? Is perfect a size or a look? Or is perfect simply making peace with what is?
