AHEAD OF THE CURVE

TikToker Ella Daisy () posted a video of herself showing off her figure from each and every angle.

"No longer hiding my body because Aphrodite was worshipped for looking like this."

The video has since been viewed over 16 million times, with commenters predicting a trend.

"I feel this is Aphrodite Girl Summer and I'm here for it," said one viewer.

Speaking to The U.S. Sun, Ella shared how she has come to view herself in a more body-positive light.

"For me, Aphrodite Summer is simply celebrating your version of a healthy body," she said.

"It doesn’t need to look like a model or even Aphrodite — she was the goddess of beauty, so for me, that just means celebrating your beauty!" she continued.

"I would love to see girls of all shapes and sizes just enjoying their summer and having fun, not worrying about how they look in a bikini."

She hopes that other women realize that there is more to life than just "how you look."

"Beauty isn't one size," said Daisy.

"We can all be beautiful and look completely different."

I’m a hot mum-of-two and I’ll never stop wearing swimwear - women shame me but I don’t care, I’m proud of my bikini body

BODY IMAGE BATTLES

Ella revealed that she first started struggling with body image issues at just 10 years old.

This led to her developing anorexia, a severe eating disorder, which she battled throughout all of her teenage years.

Now that she has recovered, her message is meant to inspire other young girls to avoid "going down the same path."

I believe self-talk changes how you feel about yourself so I made a very conscious effort at the start to fake it and tell myself really nice things.

She also has some confidence-boosting tips.

"For me, it all comes down to self-talk and mindset!" she said.

"Realizing that nobody actually cares what you look like or how much you weigh, everyone is too busy focusing on themselves!" she added.

"We get one body and its sole purpose is to keep us alive and help us experience life which is infinitely more important than how we look.

"I believe self-talk changes how you feel about yourself so I made a very conscious effort at the start to fake it and tell myself really nice things and over time it gets easier and you believe them yourself!

"Also, try to talk to yourself as you would a friend."

ROLE MODELS

Ella also revealed her biggest role models — and the thing she admires most in others.

"I think the most beautiful trait you can have is confidence in yourself and joy for life! The most beautiful people I know are the ones that love themselves and are happy!" she said.

"I follow so many other creators on social media who are spreading the same message I am and they are amazing! Eg Mayridts, Nelly London, and Spencer Barbosa," she added.

Her inspiring words were certainly resonating with others.

"This is my body type, omg, I had no idea it was Aphrodite," one viewer wrote.
