“We’ve got leopard for every occasion,” Asda bosses said.

The Leopard Print Quilted Tie Front Waistcoat costs £20 and is available in sizes 8 to 24.

It is made from 100% cotton and features a V neckline, triple tie front design and curved hem.

The George at Asda social media team took to Instagram to promote the on-trend piece.

“I’m so obsessed with this,” one fashionista commented.

“I’ve worn it twice already.”

“Oh, this is gorgeous,” another gushed.

“I might have to pick one up on my food shop next week.”

Others said they were “very tempted” by the style and joked that they’re “running to Asda”.

The waistcoat was also likened to the £80 Damson Madder Tilly Gilet.

It’s everything’ cry shoppers as they run to Asda to snap up viral £28 jacket

This leopard print over-piece went viral on TikTok at the start of the year as fashion fans scrambled to get their hands on one.

“The Tilly gilet features a quilted body, scoop neck and front ties closures with a regular fit through the body,” a blurb reads.

Fashion editors say…

The leopard print trend comes with a whole lot of history… it's a catwalk favourite for a reason.

From Coronation Street's iconic barmaid Bet Lynch to Spice Girl Mel B, animal print has been an iconic look on our screens, runways and high streets for decades.

Reasons to shop supermarket fashion

When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there's no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg...

They’re convenient - Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.

It’s affordable - For basics  to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.

They’re more on-trend that you think - With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury's and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.

They fit well - Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.

“I’m so getting on board with the leopard trend at the moment,” Fabulous’ Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale says.

“It’s a print that really does stand the test of time and always comes back around.

“So, I don't mind investing in a statement piece I know I can wear for years to come.

“I really wanted a pair of leopard-print jeans and had my eye on a Damson Madder pair.

“Sadly, they seem to be sold out everywhere, so instead I’ve gone in a different direction and opted for a puff-sleeve Sister Jane blouse.”
