THERE'S nothing quite like a tasty iced coffee, but let's face it, they can be pretty expensive to buy when you're out and about.

So it's no wonder savvy shoppers are racing to get their hands on a gadget so they can make them at home.

One keen bargain hunter took to the popular money-saving Facebook group to rave about the find.

She stopped by the outlet store Choice Home to pick up the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser for the cool price of £55.

That might sound like a lot, but the popular gadgets usually retail for £99.95 - meaning she nabbed it for almost half price.

The machine is designed to make the perfect hot chocolate, but of course you can use it to make your other hot or cold drinks that little but more indulgent.

Hotel Chocolat notes that it takes just 2.5 minutes for the magic to work.

"The Velvetiser is designed to be as beautiful as the drink it creates and aesthetically designed to complement any kitchen and precision-engineered for effortless use. Simply add milk, sprinkle single-serve sachet, press the button, then 2.5 minutes later, pour," the website reads.

"The clever design makes both right and left hand pouring smooth and seamless.

"And the Velvetiser is quick to use and even quicker to clean - just remove the whisk and rinse the non-stick interior with water. It’s not suitable for dishwashers, but they only slow you down," the product description coninutes.

Homebase the big sale and its legacy

After sharing the bargain find on Facebook other shoppers were keen to get their hands on one before they're all gone.

"Brilliant price, well done," one person commented on the post.

A second agreed: "That's really cheap."

Meanwhile, someone else pointed out that shoppers can also buy the gadget for less directly from Hotel Chocolat when they sign up for the 12 month sachets subscription as well.

"I love mine had it for £50 when you have 12 months delivery one a month," they said.

Others pointed out that they haven't heard of Choice Home before, but would would be looking into paying a visit.

"Not heard of choice, but it's a great machine, love mine," one said.

Meanwhile, others were stunned by the deal, especially one shopper who forked out full price for her gadget.

"Jesus I was absolutely robbed," she joked.

" have one, don’t think they’re worth the money, a cheaper one will do exactly the same job," another chimed in.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
