WHEN Lily Wright got face tattoos honouring her favourite film character aged 20, she didn’t foresee how it would impact her on the school run years later.
The 28-year-old gets “judged” by other mums while dropping her four-year-old daughter off at the school gates due to a six-letter word tattooed on her cheek.
Lily has spent years living with three face tattoos inspired by Margot Robbie's famous Suicide Squad character.
As an ode to the actress’ on-screen portrayal of Harley Quinn, Lily had the same three sketches permanently etched on her face as the fictional heroine.
But now, she “massively regrets” the inks and is getting them removed.
The three tattoos are a cross above her eyebrow, as well as a heart and the word “ROTTEN” inked on her cheek.

Melbourne-based Lily has admitted her “massive regret” for the film-inspired tattoos.
She got them done while involved in “crime and drugs” as an impressionable 20-year-old.
The reformed mum finds that people judge her for the inks, particularly when she is doing the school run or attending job interviews.
“I got in some criminal trouble in 2016 and I decided to get my face tattooed,” Lily told

“I feel like I have been judged a lot for them.
“I feel like the tattoos hold me back.”
Lily, who is now on the straight and narrow after going to rehab, hopes getting the tattoos removed will help her find a job.
“I now massively regret getting my face tattooed,” she added.
“I need to get rid of them.”
Fortunately, Lily is one of 150 people who will get regrettable tattoos removed for free as part of a global initiative by laser removal company, Removery.
The charitable program has been called INK-nitiative.
Which tattoos hurt the most?
Depending on what part of your body you choose to ink, tattoos can range significantly in terms of pain levels.
Some of the most painful areas are those where the skin tends to be thinner or closer to the bone.
Each area has specific factors which contribute to the level of pain.
Ribcage: Thin skin, little muscle, and many nerve endings.
Feet and ankles: Many bones, tendons, and nerve endings close to the surface.
Hands and fingers: Many bones, tendons, and nerve endings, resulting in increased pain during tattooing. Knuckles can be especially painful.
Spine: Proximity of the spinal cord and nerve endings makes it sensitive. Tattooing directly over the vertebrae can be especially painful.
Knees and elbows: Thin skin and little padding between the skin and the underlying bones.
Armpits and groin: High concentration of nerve endings and lymph nodes.
Neck and throat: Thin and sensitive skin, with many nerve endings and blood vessels close to the surface.

Lily will begin her laser treatment with Removery at the end of August.
The laser clinic’s co-founder, Carmen VanderHeiden Brodie, told that the program aims to give people their lives back “in a unique way”.
