The little-known discount store with 32 locations where you can find Makeup Revolution products slashed to under £2

SHOPPERS are racing to a niche discount store after finding it stocks their favourite make-up brand. 

One beauty buff unearthed hundreds of Makeup Revolution products - including skincare, eye-shadow palettes and false eyelashes - in her local outlet. 

Nat Louise took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share that there were “decent bargains”.

Among the discounted products were 99p make-up brushes, £1.49 serums, £1.99 fake tan and £1.49 setting sprays. 

The store in question is Quality Discounts, affectionately known by shoppers as QD.

It is an independently-owned discount shop primarily operating in the east of England. 

It currently has 32 locations, according to recent data on the QD website.

Further afield locations include in Aylesbury, Suffolk, Essex and Leceister.

The first QD branch was opened in Norwich in 1985.

It has kept a simple red and white logo of QD, which stands for the store's name. 

In April 2022, the chain decided to give fellow discounters Poundland and Home Bargains a run for their money by offering a frozen food section.

Despite this, a number of shoppers have still never heard of the brand. 

That includes a number of commenters on Nat Louise’s post about QD’s latest Makeup Revolution offering. 

Kayleigh McConnell penned: “I’ve never heard of QD.”

Ashi Parmar asked: “Sorry, QD? 

“Is it like Home Bargains?”

Sarah Mead weighed in: “I don't think there are so many QDs around anymore.”

Makeup Revolution is a London-based cosmetics brand hailed for its affordable yet high-quality beauty buys. 

But as the cost of living crisis continues to pinch Britons’ purses, even bigger of a discount tanks to QD won’t hurt.
