THERE'S nothing more frustrating than wanting a creamy avocado toast topped with feta cheese and tomatoes - only to realise that the star of the show is still rock-hard.
Luckily, one foodie has come to rescue with the ultimate hack that's bound to be a lifesaver if you're a brunch lover like us, the team at Fabulous.
According to the YouTube tipster, you can quickly ripen avocados at home in just 10 minutes - and it's all thanks to a savvy, faff-free hack.
Sharing the ingenious hack, explained on his channel: "Today, I'm going to show you how you can quickly ripen an avocado, which isn't quite soft yet."
The smart foodie suggested an easy method, which involved wrapping the popular fruit in kitchen foil, setting it in an ovenproof dish, and then placing it into a preheated oven.
The YouTuber, who's won over 7million subscribers, said the oven temperature should be set to "about 200 degrees Fahrenheit, that's about 90 degrees Celsius", .

The man also explained the science behind it: "Warming up the avocado gently releases gas which surrounds it, and helps to speed up the ripening process."
With around 10 minutes of oven time, the hack whizz assured that the creamy fruit will then be ready to eat whichever way you fancy.
However, it's best to first let the avocado cool down completely on a cooling rack first, reported.
If your avocado feels harder, you may need to leave it in the oven for a little longer.

Once it's cooled, DaveHax instructed: "When it's cool, remove the foil and carefully cut it in half; remove the stone, and you should it's now soft, ripe and perfect for eating."
Although the video has gone viral, with over a million views, the effectiveness of the hack has been under debate - whilst some eagle-eyed viewers reckoned the avocado already looked ripe prior to the oven, others who tested the method confirmed it worked a charm.
One happy foodie exclaimed: "It worked."
Someone else was also pleased with the results, reporting: "I tried this and it worked. I put it in the oven two times, for 10 minutes, at 200 degrees.
''So it was a total of 20 minutes for me."
The commenter continued: "I put in three avocados at once, on a baking sheet.
''After the 20 minutes, I left them in there to soften, when the oven was off. So surprised it actually worked.
