A MUSICIAN is missing an important tool, but it will take the eyes of a hawk to find it camouflaged in a busy floral fabric.

If you can spot the guitar pick in under 13 seconds in the illusion, you may have 20/20 vision.

Reddit user challenged readers with a stealthy brainteaser he posted.

"Find the guitar pick," he captioned the image.

At first glance, it looks like nothing more than a close-up of a patterned bedspread featuring orange flowers and green vines.

But there is a small guitar pick hiding in plain sight within the floral design.

You have 20/20 vision and a high IQ if you find the tiny alligator blending in with the lily pads in under 20 seconds

If you weren't able to spot it in time, no worries.

One Redditor said they "found it hard" to spot the guitar pick because it blends in well with the green details of the fabric.

"There’s nothing for scale so I didn’t know how big the pic would be compared to the pattern," they explained.

"I got lucky and zoomed in close to it. If I didn't do that, I wouldn't have found it for a good while!" another added.

Someone else admitted that it took them "47 seconds" and they "felt dumb" when they found it.

Others weren't impressed and didn't find it hard to find.

One said they would "call this easy" and found it quickly.

Benefits of brainteasers and optical illusions

Researchers have developed many tests to show how various brain regions react to brainteasers and optical illusions. There are many benefits.

  • They are not only entertaining, but they also shed light on how our brains interpret visual data.
  • By giving your brain a little workout regularly, you enhance your ability to focus and observe details.
  • Studies have shown people who regularly challenge themselves with optical illusions and puzzles see big improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration, and attention.
  • Improved concentration and attention span can help prevent cognitive decline in old age.
  • Optical illusions can improve eyesight by allowing you to see small print.

If it took you longer than the time to catch a glimpse, the answer is circled directly below in red.
