She explained the reasoning behind each of her food tips, including the best part of the fridge for your milk.
In her viral video, TikTok user Caroline (@neat.caroline) talked her followers through each of her grocery hacks.
For her first tip, she recommended moving your carton of milk from the fridge door.
While most people tend to keep the food staple there for convenience, Caroline explained that there are cooler sections of the fridge that will keep your milk fresher for longer.
She suggested storing it on the upper or middle shelves as this is where the temperature is coldest.

Caroline also recommended opting for salted butter if you are someone who enjoys it at room temperature.
She explained that this is because the grocery item lasts longer than the unsalted kind.
For her final suggestion, Caroline revealed the best way to store ginger roots.
"Place ginger in a plastic bag with the air pushed out in a crisper drawer," she advised.
"This will keep in oxygen and moisture, prolonging freshness."
Her followers shared their thoughts on the advice in the comments section.
"Thanks! I learned multiple new things! Also, I keep ginger in the freezer so it is easy to grate," wrote one viewer.
