The pair have always been open about their personal lives on social media.

Quran even proposed to his wife with a crowd which he paid for through crowd-funding from his online audience.

In a recent on their TikTok page (), Quran and Cheryl shared an update on their surrogacy journey with their 3.2m followers.

Quran said: "Originally I didn't want to talk about this - the fact that she's trying to keep the baby ... I didn't want to discuss it.

"I don’t have the time or mental capacity to be dealing with the hurt and pain that she caused in our lives."

However, he did disclose that both he and Cheryl have been attending therapy sessions to "cope with the hurt".

Despite the betrayal, Quran said he didn't harbour any ill feelings towards their surrogate.

In a previous update, the couple revealed that their surrogate is currently incarcerated and argued that their baby girl, who is due on December 27, would have a better life with them.

The couple said they take responsibility for not being prepared for the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy.

They said their surrogate has substance abuse issues but they were forced to use her egg rather than Cheryl's due to her age.

When the couple learned the baby's conception date, they became concerned about who the baby's parents were.

Doctors estimate the baby was conceived on March 5 but the official insemination procedure did not occur until March 12.

Now the couple face a long waiting game to see if the child is theirs.

"The right thing [for her] to do was to come to the DNA test, we didn’t get that," Quran said.

Despite their pain, he said they were "not dwelling on that situation anymore".

The TikToker pointed out that all they could do was wait until they learned who the baby belonged to.

His followers shared their thoughts on the situation in the comments section.

"I'm so sorry you went through this. It's awful," wrote one TikTok user.

Trolling the couple has received since baby announcement

Quaran and Cheryl McCain announced their surrogacy journey in June, revealing their baby's gender soon after.

While most of their online users showed their support, others were quick to point out the couple's age gap.

Many people joked that Quaran would make a good father while his wife, who has 18 grandchildren, would make a good grandmother.

Others compared the couple to a grandmother and grandson.

People pointed out that Cheryl looked too fragile to handle a young baby.

Despite the hate, the pair said they were looking forward to raising a child together.
