A MOTHER confessed to struggling to brush her toddler’s hair despite routinely using a detangling spray.
She was delighted when other parents revealed the DIY haircare spray they use which is made from two budget-friendly ingredients.
“Any recommendations for a detangling spray for the world’s knottiest hair,” she wrote.
“The Asda spray is just not cutting it and I dread having to brush my 3-year-old's hair every day.
“We use conditioner when it’s washed. Thank you.”

“I just mix a blob of conditioner with boiling water in a spray bottle, give it a shake and leave to cool,” she wrote.
“Doesn't leave my daughter's hair greasy and is far better than anything else I've tried.
“She's autistic and airbrushing is a major trigger for a meltdown, we don't have that now.”
Another mum received lots of likes for commenting with the same idea.
“Genuinely thought it was a pic of my daughter,” she said.
“I just use normal conditioner to brush through or put some mixed with water in a spray bottle. It works just as well as all the expensive options.”
